Unfortunately.

*sighs s'more*

I'm bored, and cold, and reading depressing news. Does anybody have anything non-depressing for me to read? Pretty please?

It's right -- we have a LOT of work to do.

How bout depressing but hopeful stuff?

http://www.cpt.org an organization that is committed to reducing violence by "getting in the way". Walking children to school in Palestine. Helping displaced civilians in rural Columbia. Working on Iraq highlighting issues of detainee abuse. Lots of stuff. http://www.afsc.org another organization promoting peace (got a nobel peace prize too) in non violent ways.

I could show you flowers and puppies, but I could also show you devoted people trying to make a difference.

(Someone on my flist went to Hebron with CPT btw.)

I'm sorry to be so anal but this is a pet peeve of mine, being that I'm Colombian. But Colombia the country is never spelled with a u, just remember Oh Oh Colombia (two o's).
