http://www.cpt.org an organization that is committed to reducing violence by "getting in the way". Walking children to school in Palestine. Helping displaced civilians in rural Columbia. Working on Iraq highlighting issues of detainee abuse. Lots of stuff. http://www.afsc.org another organization promoting peace (got a nobel peace prize too) in non violent ways.
I could show you flowers and puppies, but I could also show you devoted people trying to make a difference.
(Someone on my flist went to Hebron with CPT btw.)
