You could be a slave trader who does transactions in pounds of cocaine and they wouldn't so much as peep in the direction of law enforcement. I just hadn't heard of other countries' tax collectors being the same way.

Who interviewed Leendert De Lange? It doesn't say. Was it the Telegraph? Or are they just rewriting -- as dubiously as they usually do (http://www.snopes.com/media/notnews/brothel.asp) -- someone else's story in a different language?
