He got his grant for this comic he'd been working on. It's so weird, I've seen that thing around all the time, and he got a grant for it. Surreal. This sounds wrong, like I don't think he deserved it, which is not the case.

His mom was there. That woman... I don't know. She sees Ana. Ana doesn't see her. AFTER Ana passes her, Ms. Doris goes and picks Ana up from behind. So of course, Ana screams. She's perfectly right to scream, she just got picked up without her consent, by somebody she didn't even know was there! And then Ms. Doris walks off with this kid. No wonder Ana spent most of the award ceremony carefully avoiding her grandmother. Somebody needs to send a giant out to pick Ms. Doris up like that, see how she likes it.

Ana did calm down eventually, and was friendly, and (finally) learned how to throw a snowball. Well. Kinda. She learned that this is what people do, but she can't really throw them. It's more like "dropping with momentum".

And then I got my presents. Guess what, guess what, guess what I got!

A book on obsolete/obscure words and...

The Gargoyles' First Season!!!!!

*hugtackles Jenn* I love you, I love you, I love you, and thanks for making me call job people and finding jobs for me to look into, and I love you!

I'm gonna go now. I have a show to watch, and dishes to wash.

This entry is dated ahead 30 minutes. I'm eager to get my first post of the day out of the way. So when I say "today", I mean Sunday, even though this is dated on Monday.

Are there non-fundamentalist Baptists?

(I ask that honestly. The ones I've known were all fundamentalist, and I never got the impression that there's a liberal sect.)

Yeah there are a few I know of, but they usualy leave the baptist church and seek some other prodistent faith.

That test didnt tell me anything I didnt know. Some of the quesitons were kinda worded weirdly, however. Mabye you interpreted them differently to the test authors?

I didn't even realise that Baptists were seen as fundamentalist until quite recently. 'cos I've grown up with next door neighbours who are Baptists and are totally liberal. And I always saw their church as very liberal. So maybe we have all the non fundamentalists Baptists over here in England and you have the crazies in the States.
