'dul's thing was today.
Jan. 31st, 2005 12:07 amHe got his grant for this comic he'd been working on. It's so weird, I've seen that thing around all the time, and he got a grant for it. Surreal. This sounds wrong, like I don't think he deserved it, which is not the case.
His mom was there. That woman... I don't know. She sees Ana. Ana doesn't see her. AFTER Ana passes her, Ms. Doris goes and picks Ana up from behind. So of course, Ana screams. She's perfectly right to scream, she just got picked up without her consent, by somebody she didn't even know was there! And then Ms. Doris walks off with this kid. No wonder Ana spent most of the award ceremony carefully avoiding her grandmother. Somebody needs to send a giant out to pick Ms. Doris up like that, see how she likes it.
Ana did calm down eventually, and was friendly, and (finally) learned how to throw a snowball. Well. Kinda. She learned that this is what people do, but she can't really throw them. It's more like "dropping with momentum".
And then I got my presents. Guess what, guess what, guess what I got!
A book on obsolete/obscure words and...
The Gargoyles' First Season!!!!!
*hugtackles Jenn* I love you, I love you, I love you, and thanks for making me call job people and finding jobs for me to look into, and I love you!
I'm gonna go now. I have a show to watch, and dishes to wash.
This entry is dated ahead 30 minutes. I'm eager to get my first post of the day out of the way. So when I say "today", I mean Sunday, even though this is dated on Monday.
