Whoever wrote that list hasn't read the books--which, incidentally, came before the movie...by a good 50 years or more. Is it meant to be funny? I really hope I'm just displaying aspie-literalness here. *is a major LotR geek*

It's supposed to be funny. That's why he keeps going on about the "novelization" of the movies, because everybody knows the books came first.
