Hi. My name is Connie... and I'm addicted to my amazon.com wishlist.

Whoever suggested getting one of these things, I hope you're happy. It just keeps growing, and growing...!

Anyway, my birthday's in a month. If you'd like to buy me something, there's the wishlist. If you'd like to buy a toy/board book for one of the babies, that's fine too. I love seeing them with stuff I picked out. If you don't want to get me anything, that's also fine.

You're all commanded to be here, though. January 31. My birthday. *nods self-righteously and leaves*

I try to keep mine limited to the fifty items I want the most. It helps.

It's the shiny thigns isn't it? You must have the shinies! (I'm exactly the same. Things are great)

Interesting... I abandoned my Amazon wishlist pretty quickly because it tended to get outdated so fast. (I'd buy something in a store and forget to remove it from the list or simply lose interest in the item. Or it would go out of stock permanently.)

I didn't even know there was a way to delete items I've already bought. I've looked and looked and couldn't find a way, because there are a bunch of items on there that I got for the holiday.

Oh no, am I really just that stupid?
Can you tell me how to delete single items?

Wow, I wonder how I missed that.

My wishlist is also massive. That reminds me I don't think I took Benny Hill off of it.

I personally think public wishlists are one of the most absurd and immodest things to have. To me, they smack of high-society wedding gift lists. I do have an Amazon wishlist, but it's kept private just to remind me what I am planning on getting/saving up for.

Connie, dear friend.

I don't even buy anything off my own wishlist that I've had for ... I honestly can't remember how long, for reasons of being absolutely destitute and not being able to afford to eat properly every day (this is no exaggeration).

I hope you didn't take my rant about wishlists personally, because it wasn't directed at you, but rather at the concept of wishlists themselves. You see, I get triggered by individual words rather than the overall meaning [wanders off ashamed]

Hi. My name is Leesa... and I too am addicted to my amazon.com wishlist. [breaks down in melodramatic tears and accepts hugs from the other members while waving around a sodden hankerchief]

Seriously though...mine is something along the lines of 618 items and growing. Though a couple contributing factors are that I use it as a memory tool as well as a wishlist. And...[dramatic pause]...I am addicted to anime. :P

So....yeah...I wasn't able to actually view your wishlist, connie...so I'm not sure if mine is larger or not. I have this nagging feeling though that you're going to look at this and blink and then be like..."This girl is insane."
