Why? Because the evidence was so compelling?

No.

He didn't show enough emotion during the trial.

Yeah, and I've studied the rules of trolling. It is vital to warp the statements of one's adversary, which is what the forker was doing in spades to all involved. It may be hightened emotion, though, bluring the ability to read. It's happened with me, before. I wouldn't assume trolling or stupidity until we see more.

*shrug*

Same here. Though I'm not sure how to define stupidity here, by contrast, the ignorance in several key areas was quite plain.

It always bugs the hell out of me when people pompously equate a conviction with actual guilt, which even philosophy of justice recognizes as inherently unknowable. In fact, the failure to reconize that distinction is sometimes regarded as more of a threat to justice than corruption within the judiciary itself.

But it was the misrepresentation that made it too personal for me. Few things grind my gizzard worse that some ignoramous presuming to tell me what I think.

As for actual trolling, it would depend how much of it was deliberate subterfuge. I don't think that's the case here, which is why I wish I had been a bit more...er...judicious. But speaking of trolling, I'm damn glad no one saw my first reply! Thank Dog for timely deletions!
