Okay, poll-type-question here!

As I post so much *blushes* I've decided I really need to start making some of my posts "memories". Other people can read those, right? If not, tell me so I can abandon this idea. Anyway, this way I wouldn't worry so much about posts being pushed off before sporadic friends show up to read them. Not that I post *that* much, but with only 20 on a page at a time.... Anyway, my question:

What sort of posts should (or should not) be memories? This is completely open ended, feel free to give examples from my blog (or those of other people, of course, so long as you link).

Actually you can chose whether or not memories are public, I think. I really should do mine, but I'm too lazy to go through the massive volumes of posts that have accumulated through the years. It may be a project for xmas break if we don't go anywhere.

I'm not even going to approach the issue of what sorts of things should be memories. If it were me being really ambitious, I'd probably put just about everything into various categories of memories. I'd definitely memory all my cool links and pictures so it'd be easier to find them later. And.. anything that made me unhappy or happy, so I could remind myself of them depending on my mood. I don't know exactly what you want for your memories.

You realize I updated 10 times today? Do you see the sheer size of some of those posts? I want people to be able to read them before I update them right into the second or third page. You *know* nobody ever goes there!

That's a good idea! *huggles* I can have rants and stuff in one set and everyone else's posts in another set, and a set for me being silly, but in a worthwhile way. That's possible, right? You're not just leading me on?

Actually, just tell me what entries in my blog, or the blogs of other people YOU found most interesting/useful/worthwhile. Or the ones you didn't like at all. I'll sift through the lists and come up with the perfect memory system.
