This is off-topic, but I just thought I ought to let you know that today while I was reading through the last few days' worth of posts on the message board of the guild I'm in on Neopets, I came upon a post by someone with an abandoned kitten who couldn't get it to eat. Now, this was posted several days ago, so if they couldn't get it to eat yet it's probably dead, but I neomailed her just now telling her that if they did get it to eat and have any more questions, they could probably ask you about it, and I gave them your Neopets username.

I realize I probably should have asked you first, but that didn't occur to me until after I had sent the Neomail because I was worried about the kitten. I hope it's okay with you, and I'm really, really sorry if it's not.

Nobody neomailed me. I hope they took it to the vet....

The person has not replied to my Neomail, but they posted again in the Guild today saying that the kitten is doing fine and they did get it to eat and so on. It sounds like they're taking good care of it. I'm glad it's okay, I was worried.

withthe mystery benefactor, i have heard of this happening several times before, and noone can track it down. i think either lj is doing it, much as xanga does, where it gives you a trial of their premium services but they aren't mentioning it, or we have a few people with disgusting amounts of money that like upgrading random people and comms.

I saw something mentioned on a community, I think it was support_interim...that when you have I2s in a category, the "paid account fairy" goes out giving out paid time every 2 months.

Maybe that's it?

But that's only two months, not a year, and for your journal, not a comm you run. I certainly don't have I2s in comms (much to my annoyance).
