Yesterday morning there were about five blossoms open on the cherry tree in front of our house. By 5 PM there were probably fifty.

I don't know if I'm allergic to cherry or if I'm allergic to something else that blooms at the same time, but my eyes have been itching like nobody's business.

We had about 3" of snow yesterday after several days of major dust storms. Now it's blue skies and fairly normal temperatures for the 10-day forecast.

Snow? When it's 80F out? I've heard of snow-in-the-summer, but this is just silly!

The thing that I hated is we already are getting fire storm watch warnings, we could have used another few days of snow here.  It was perhaps the poorest winter in the two decades that I've been up here.

It was 81-85 degrees in some areas of New York, although Long Island was much cooler and in the fifties and sixties due to the cool ocean breeze.
