Welp. Uh. You'll be waiting a long time then, because there is no sequel and Lloyd Alexander has been dead nearly 20 years. (Also, this is probably my favorite Lloyd Alexander, so I feel their pain.)

Adored the Prydain books since early childhood and enjoyed the Westmark trilogy in my early twenties.

I clearly must read The First Two Lives of Lukas-Kasha.

I never did read the Westmark trilogy. As for Prydain, the sad truth is that by the time I found it I had largely aged out of it, having read so many other broadly similar fantasy series! That's not an insult to the author - most of them clearly were influenced by him.

I read Prydain when I was the right age for it, and the fourth book ("Taran Wanderer") spoke to me and shaped my life. But I've still enjoyed re-reading them in recent years. Haven't read Westmark or Lukas-Kasha; I'll look them up.

Westmark is so good, particularly the second and third books!

I agree. It's so fine a trilogy that I'm surprised it's not the work he's remembered for.

It was so exciting to me as a kid to discover Lloyd Alexander lived a long bike ride away from me by accident when researching for something in Middle school. I deliberately did not write down or memorize the address. I didn't go there because that would have been creepy.

I just smiled every time I thought of him quietly living an writing not all that far from me.
