Still feel kinda numb about it. Kinda want to go back to sleep again, but I'm all sore from sleeping all day, so... maybe not so much.

You can't murder your way to a happy ending, but that doesn't mean I don't want a whole lot of people to suddenly (and painlessly, I'm not a monster!) drop dead.

10 ways to be prepared and grounded if Trump wins

Unrelatedly, Wordsmith Daily has had quite an interesting choice of words this week. Tuesday it was "security blanket". Today it's "nuclear option".

Besides which, any hypothetical assassin needs to get Vance and Johnson at the same time they get Trump. That's next to impossible.

I feel like the window on assassinating Tre45on having any good effect closed in 2020 or so. Martyring the head of the cult without also eliminating the rest of them just inflames the cult members to go harder. Plus, now, it's being fed by the Heritage Foundation and its ilk, and they have picked a successor in Shady JD, meaning Tre45on is simply a figurehead. The cult seems to be able to self-perpetuate without him; an assassination is pointless.

I'm one of the 50% who will never apply for my boss' job. I already have more in my life than I can handle on my own, no way should I be responsible for anyone else. Never mind that I doubt I would be good at it, regardless of training.

...yeah, me too...the list, inside and outside the US, has been growing...

Sigh yes.

Although...I'm currently wanting the pain, so there may be a touch of the monster in me?

Have similar thoughts. (Granted it helps that all my friends and family members aren't Boogeyman supports. I'd not lose anyone if we did that.). I keep fantasizing about waving them into a parallel universe where their decisions create the world they appear to want, and our decisions affect the world we want, completely isolated from each other. But alas, we can't have that.

I just want them gone. But admittedly - I don't really know anyone who supports him outside of a few annoying co-workers, who I could live without, and an annoying uncle. So, I'm biased and it's a good thing I'm not making the decision.

Whoa, I smell that odd smell of wood burning fireplace smoke again. Is there another fire burning tonight?

Nearly half of Americans don't want a promotion

Not surprising. I felt that way back in the early 90s. I had a job I liked. But the only way to get more pay was to become a supervisor. I don't *want* to be a supervisor. It'd have meant less time doing the stuff I liked about the job, and being responsible or "in charge of" other people was major disincentive.
