Oh, they seem cute and cuddly... and then they snap and go mad and try to bite off your fingers and kill the other family pets... I'd never have another hamster. Ever. Vicious, I say!

Me either. We had 3 dwarf hamsters, and damnit if they weren't the most wretched beasts.

Mimei was OK. She only bit when she wanted to be put down. Skunk never bit us, but Poppet... OMG! She was the Devil.

How many do you have? Right now we have 3 (and like it that way) but there was a time when we had 21 fosters. 3 is good because they've got friends, and everyone gets adequate personal attention.
