You know what I hate about jeans?

They don't stay still. I mean, I buy a pair of jeans, and when I buy them, they barely fit. They're too tight. Then, after I've worn them once, now all of a sudden they're too loose. They want the world to see my undies.

Betrayers.

I'll just have to ask my mom to take these in. This is insane. WHY do they DO this?

Sounds like you might be having weight fluctuations. I think these are especially common around that time of the month. In my experience, it's not unusual to gain or lose a few pounds in the space of a few days. Even minor fluctuations can make jeans tight or loose. If it's not weight changes, it might be something else... like wearing the jeans or washing them might've made them looser.

Your icon is reminding me of kindergarten, when we made caterpillars and butterflies out of egg cartons. It's also reminding me of a sweatshirt I had in preschool, with a similar-looking caterpillar sewn on it. I perseverated on caterpillars when I was little, too. So this is bringing back memories! Okay, so I totally went off on a tangent. :P

That's what I originally thought, but once the jeans stretch out, they stay that way - and my weight has not been going down that much.
