Today I was rewarded with some bird at the suet feeder I didn't recognize!

Black and white all over, no gray. Definitely not chickadee shaped, though I guess approximately chickadee and sparrow sized. I think it might be this guy - or this girl, really, because there was no red. I wish I had a decent camera so I could take a usable picture from my window instead of working from memory here.

oooo! I hope it was! I love downy woodpeckers. They come to our suet all the time.
