I haven't been around because I've been doing two things:

1. Rewatching Lower Decks, this time with Eva.

2. Playing Mario RPG now that it's come out on the switch. Guys, I love that game so much. I always have, and I will continue to love it forever. The floors are all shiny in this version! So shiny! Also... um... I have found that I have a good deal of that game memorized. Including being able to hum Toadofsky's song from memory, although that didn't freaking help me play it by hopping on his tadpoles. I'm currently in the volcano, soon to beat the very best team of Mario villains ever! Also, can I just say that this game is the one that permanently shaped my impression of the Mario/Peach/Bowser dynamic?

Those seem like great reasons to not be around much.

When did Mario RPG first come out? It sounds like something I should maybe look into...

Super Mario RPG was, I think, one of the last games to come out on the SNES, and was released in 96.

Also, um, I have repeatedly downloaded an SNES emulator to play this game on my computer so, fyi, it's not that hard to find a pirated copy to do for free if you want.

Did they redo the soundtrack? I have to look it up and see what they did with Bukki's Theme and "The Road Is Full of Dangers"
