I don't think I had ever even heard of these books till I saw a mention of them this week, and I have no time for reading just now... so, of course, I bought them, at your suggestion.

The new editions - that's what I linked to! - are definitely superior to the original. She went back and tightened up the timeline considerably, but more importantly, she made dramatic revisions to an autistic character and the plot of the book he's introduced in, in response to commentary from autistic readers.

Cool! I will look forward to reading them. Hopefully starting next month, after I get my thesis submitted, as falling into a new book (= harder to put down than one I have read before), wouldn't exactly be wise.
