I was nostalgically watching some Newsies songs while doing laundry last night

Am I the only one who wonders if the boost in union activity nowadays is, perhaps in a small part, correlated to people watching Newsies as kids? It does have some catchy songs. Anybody will join anything if there's catchy songs and also the chance of improved labor conditions.

Well, it was popular enough that they eventually put it on Broadway, and then on tour.
