It's a good thing she's such a gentle and sweet cat. (Jenn, stop laughing. She is.)

Date: 2023-07-01 10:33 am (UTC)We used to have a white cat, Jade (sometimes called JD for Juvenile Delinquent) who weaponised shedding.
If you startled her, she'd take off and leave a huge cloud of white fur behind her, rather similar to how squids leave a cloud of ink.
For a small, short-hair, cat she produced an inordinate amount of fur and it clung like crazy. You'd walk past her, and you could see this amorphous cloud of white fuzz that hung around her suddenly waft through the air towards you like some sort of airborne amoeba.
She was a lovely cat, for something that seemed to be part Lovecraftian eldritch horror..
