and this is hell. Like, this is the fucking worst.

I meant to carve out a teensy bit of time for myself last night, but I pretty much typed up a locked post and then fell into bed. So now I'm doing it this morning, which cuts into my time with Mommy but... actually, in the past few months she's gotten better at grasping that if I take a break when visiting with her, or don't visit for as long as she would like (all day, every day) then it's not a rejection of her as a person or a mother, I just need some quiet and less people. Hospitals are very noisy, and right now the entire family is there. So I'll go in in a little bit.

The pudu is very sweet. Much better than what I first thought of, which was Sebulba having a tantrum after losing the pod race too young Anakin.

I'm so sorry. The uncertainty is very hard. And as others have already said, taking breaks is so helpful (though it's very hard to make yourself do it). Please don't feel any need to reply to this...just wanted you to know that I'm listening and thinking about you.

Pudu are so brain-meltingly cute as babies. If they stayed that small, everyone would want a pocket-sized deer a pet.
