This sort of thing happens pretty often, though it could be worse. I used to regularly slice my fingers when chopping veggies and now it hardly ever gets that bad. Just nails.

Hah, no, this is the part of the day where I go "Oh, darn, I guess there's some secret ingredient in the food". We did pizza the day before.
