B5 update

They've liberated Earth. Honestly, the pace of this season is just too much.

Still, it's a great episode. Clark's Scorched Earth policy really did a lot for our heroes' PR - and more than that, I teared up watching ISN come back without the collaborators. (Nobody likes a collaborator!)

I told Jenn and Eva yesterday, because they asked, that Ivanova does not die. I was very careful with how I said it. They asked me repeatedly. And yet, somehow, neither of them heard what I left out. Poor Marcus!

I cannot rewatch without mourning the way the seasons of B5 played out. Surely if JMS had been able to write to plan, the fifth season would not have been so tedious slow, because going after Clarke would have been part of it.

Some lovely heroic moments in that episode!

Seconded. I dearly wish that JMS had known he would have season 5 when he was planning season 4. There's what he wanted to do, and what he felt he had to do to not leave fans hanging if it got cancelled. So frustrating!
