I know how you feel. My local politician's name is too close for comfort to that of a fairly well-known murderer. A bad mix-up to make.

My boss had the same last name as a locally infamous murderer. No relation, but she took to saying, "He's my brother" to shut inquirers up.

It only means there are many diverse women in leadership: a very good thing. If there was a token one, it would not be possible to make that mistake.

I'm still getting used to Ms. Harris pronouncing her name with the accent on the first syllable. The only other Kamala I ever knew pronounced her name with the accent on the second one.
