this world is a scary place. I was just about to say "oh to be young and naive again" so I wouldn't have to understand all of the horrible things going on, but then that seemed inappropriate after reading about kids that probably have lost that innocent naivety that's usually associated with childhood after living through an experience like that. :(

Yeah, it really would. And, much as I hate to say it, it's probably worse for the ones who survived. The other ones are dead, their problems are over now *hugs in spirit*, but these kids have to live with this for the rest of their lives.
