conulyand Londo is now trying to justify himself with "I had no choice".
Yeah, you had a choice. Your choice, as always, was to either step back or take a flying leap off that cliff, and boy, you made it!
Every episode, I tell my sister and Eva that he's got character growth. It's just a long, painful path for everybody. For him, for us, for countless Narns. Some character growth comes at too high a price.
Also, fascism and the far right are on the rise again on Earth. Again. (And you know what? I bet old-school ethno-nationalism isn't too far behind either. I don't remember too much of that on the show, but realistically, it's gotta still be there.)
Meanwhile, I find myself annoyed by the pettiest detail: Downbelow has leaky water pipes and steam vents. Now, we've already been told that actual water showers are a premium feature because the water reclamation system is very tightly regulated. I know, I know, they built the place on the cheap - but somehow, I don't think they cheaped out that much on water pipes, and while I can believe they aren't doing the right amount of maintenance for them, they shouldn't be in that bad shape after such a short time, even with deliberate sabotage. (If there's deliberate sabotage, I'd expect the thirsty saboteurs to close the pipes afterwards. The last thing they want is the station to send teams down to fix it up and bust a few heads.)
