Now, we live in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood - actually, it's a pretty mixed neighborhood, but at any rate, we have a lot of Spanish speakers - and since the start of the pandemic, every time I walk the dogs to the vet or go down to CVS I've passed many stores with many variations on "No Puede Entrar Sin Mascara" on the doors, which of course means "no entry without a mask" but which my stubborn brain persistently insists on reading "No entry without mascara".

Pandemic? More like GLAMdemic, amirite?

You should come here. I live very close to the most Hipster-ish part of Melbourne, so the masks are vintage fabrics, amazing Indigenous patterns, bright psychedelic prints, repurposed old shirts and even matching mask-and-coffee-mug.

Ok, that last one was mine, and completely co-incidental.
