They sent him home with a St. Patrick's Day bandana, very cute.
Now, we live in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood - actually, it's a pretty mixed neighborhood, but at any rate, we have a lot of Spanish speakers - and since the start of the pandemic, every time I walk the dogs to the vet or go down to CVS I've passed many stores with many variations on "No Puede Entrar Sin Mascara" on the doors, which of course means "no entry without a mask" but which my stubborn brain persistently insists on reading "No entry without mascara".
Pandemic? More like GLAMdemic, amirite?
(I can't believe it's taken me a year to think of that punchline)
