Why I'm taking 18 credits this term.
Sep. 1st, 2004 04:36 pmThere's an LJ community for brooklyn college. Not much going on there, but people post their schedules. One person, taking 12 credits, said something about how she's the only one who "doesn't want to rush through college". Other people commented on how my four classes last summer was "a lot for the summer".
I can't take summer vacation. When I do, I end up having a huge trouble starting class again. Every time there's a break during the school year (winter, spring, whatever), I spend at least three weeks afterwards being depressed - and a lot of times this is the point where I fuck up my classes. Last year I *never* recovered from winter break. I spent very nearly all of spring break in my room.
Four classes might be a lot for the summer, but I got very nearly all As (one A-). I do better with a lot of classes. Haven't the slightest idea why, but that fact and the fact that I messed up last year, Big Time, is why I'm taking as full a schedule as possible this term. Let's see how it turns out.
There's no point to this. I'm just talking
