Roof repairs are noisy and expensive.
Nov. 7th, 2020 12:32 amSO NOISY THOUGH.
Also, this could be a coincidence - the roofer certainly proclaimed it implausible - but I think all the shaking that goes on when you are using force to remove the old roof has finally shaken the wiring in our kitchen to the limit. I was able to plug the fridge into another socket, and we can light the stove with a lighter, but I need the oven. I was going to roast a chicken! Also, we've known we need to replace the entire circuit breaker attached to the kitchen for a while, so here I am, trying to get an electrician to call us back. Why is this always so hard? (And when they do show up, guaranteed they'll say what everybody says, namely "What idiot installed this?" The roofer said it when looking at the skylights.
