Wash, wash, wash those hands - even if you're wearing gloves. The point of gloves is not to protect your hands themselves from coronavirus. The point is to protect your hands from the drying effects of soap because of all the handwashing you're doing. The handwashing is what keeps you from spreading the disease willy-nilly.

Date: 2020-03-21 10:01 am (UTC)*In some sheer turn of good luck I have thick, almost elbow-length disposable surgical gloves, too, but got them long before the US thought COVID-19 was anything but "confined to overseas areas". Since I got them months ago I wasted them on non-essential things so have very few left; now I wish I'd saved them up. They can go under water and get washed, though probably not the greatest idea.
