Sorry, but it's not. It may, in fact, be the most boring song I've ever been subjected to over the supermarket loudspeaker... a point which neatly brings me to my second complaint, namely: do you really think these lyrics are appropriate for 2pm when school's out? I don't think of myself as being particularly prudish, but it does seem to me that some songs are not quite meant for hapless shoppers in the soup aisle.

While not involuntary audience, I thought it was weird for Red Dwarf to be in an afternoon weekend timeslot. Just because it's British and sci-fi doesn't mean it's All Audiences appropriate.

At least put it between the Artist Studio documentaries and Monty Python. That way the college kids have recovered from the night before and are home from afternoon class. ;)

The only song I know called We goes:

We are Maggie and Terre and Suzzy
Maggie and Terre and Suzzy Roche ...

It looked like "when" was an adverb applying to the title.

Yeah, that seems a little inappropriate for a public shopping venue.

That certainly doesn't seem like the thing that would be in the supermarket rotation, even in a censored form.

Completely inappropriate, agreed.

Well, how rude - do they play that on the radio there, or is it someone's private playlist?

I wonder how many complaints she's gotten about it. I'm not prudish at all; the word fuck occurs frequently in my private speech - however, it's not a word for public speech; definitely not for public song. I'd complain about it if I heard it in the grocery store, even if it was 2:00 AM rather than PM.

I can't help that I'm rather amused by the setting you set. Lol, yeah that's probably not really a song meant to spring on hapless shoppers in the soup aisle. x'D
