We're doing some major cleaning today.

That said I've been slowly picking up the debris in the basement. It's not fun. I'm hoping it will be rewarding when all the *stuff* is removed.

Oh, do I hear you, girlfriend; so very loud and clear. Our house is much the same; I'm the only able-bodied one of us four. MY room is the Pit of Chaos, because it's last on the list of Places To Clean, so I haven't cleaned it in..... far too long. But THIS week is not the week I clean it, because there's this huge and untidy YARD that I must deal with while the weather is still good enough. This week will be the first week all season that I'm neither going anywhere, nor having people over: if I don't do it now, I won't have another 'window' till next year.

I don't say "kill me now" because what doesn't kill me doesn't kill me. Whether or not it makes me stronger is debatable, but I'll take my wins where I can get them. Hang in there! At least when you're done cleaning, the place will be cleaner!
