How coincidental!
Oct. 11th, 2019 11:29 pmHere I am trying to decided between Boyntons to give to a friend for her baby (and heroically resisting an urge to buy ALL THE BOYNTONS) and she's up on Metafilter. Like many of the commenters I can, fully a decade and change after the nieces outgrew them, still recite a several Boyntons entirely by heart. Which I actually up and did shortly after deciding to send this bookish present.
(Psst - which are your top three Boynton books?)

Date: 2019-10-11 03:59 pm (UTC)One, Two, Three! — my son's favorite, because he loves numbers.
The Going to Bed Book — my favorite! But my daughter liked it too. So peaceful. Reminds me of Goodnight Moon, which has a similar feel but always felt a little spooky/scary to me.
Blue Hat, Green Hat — honorable mention, because my husband would read this with our daughter sitting on his lap, and every time he read the word "OOPS" he would rock backwards and she would squeal with laughter.
