other than a persistent trickle of mucus down the back of my throat and now a little bit of the runs. Does excess snot in the stomach do that, do you think?

Anyway, at least there's no headache. In celebration, I got my flu shot!

I think excess snot constitutes a dietary issue in and of itself. Blech. Though it's true I haven't been eating much food.

That combo certainly could. Taking into consideration any counter indications, you probably need some hard cheese, complex carbs, fiber and darkly pigmented veggies. Beans will do both fiber and protein.
