I'm certainly not bitching about what people do in their own journals. My apologies for the misunderstanding, as my view on journals is completely different.

Um. Don't disable comments in posts you make to communities, basically. With a side-bit about how if you're going to delete a post because you don't like the comments, I think that's stupid. Especially when it isn't even your own post. If you don't like the comments, delete the comments and freeze the threads, don't delete the whole post.
