The only use for dog (and cat) poop I have ever seen is to use it on property borders to dissuade predators.

And even that is not well thought of, as the different parasites that have adapted to dogs (and cats) can wreak havoc on other animals.

I mean, it does decompose, it ought to be possible for municipalities to have a pet waste hot composting facility, with the, um, product then going someplace where there's not much risk of the spread of disease.
