Or, you know, they could make things better at elementary and middle schools, and also at the not-specialized high schools.

Bronx Science.

I went to LaGuardia, myself, 1984-88. First freshman class in the new (current) building. I got into Bronx Science, but it sounded boring.

Oh, Jenn went to LaGuardia some time after you (she was 5 in 1984, and I was a bitty baby!) but LaGuardia for dance, at least when she was there... well, I don't want to tell her story, but I wouldn't encourage a young person to go that route either.
