Except that what I want to do is selectively re-watch Steven Universe. NOT the whole series, just specific episodes, only I don't know which ones. Which would you all pick?

My SU highlights are always pretty much 'every episode with a musical number'. I could watch "Jail Break," "Sworn to the Sword," and "Mr. Greg" every dang day probably.

My picks, in no particular order:

Giant Woman, because Aimee Mann guest stars!

The Uncle Grandpa crossover is like the darkest, guiltiest pleasure because it breaks so many 4th walls but does still follow the trajectory of Stephen's growth despite that (plus, RIP Pizza Steve kills me every. freaking. time!)

"Straight to Video" because of the video cassette.

"Rising Tides/Crashing Skies" because Ronaldo is what keeps Beach City weird and 'Stephen Universe: Gracious Host.'

And the pilot episode, because it's fun listening to them discuss the many different facets of how they all work.

I also would add "Do it For Her" because of the song.

Watched a lot of YouTube videos of sweets being made on Victorian-era candy making machines, but I never thought about who actually invented them. I guess I just assumed that they grew out of like a manual moulding process carried out by hand.

Looking at the baked goods link, in the "bread" group, that frosted thing, which I assume is some kind of cinnamon raisin roll is considered "bread" in English?? I'm fairly sure in German most would consider it "cake", like danishes and stuff. For me it's the frosting and the spiral form that pushes it over the edge towards "not bread", distinguished from somewhat sweet breads like brioche or plain raisin bread that are still "bread".

German has no real seperate word for "pastry" though, hence me grouping those as "cake". I mean, there is the word "Teilchen" for "pastry" but it just means just a little thing, short for "Gebäckteilchen" i.e. "little baked goods thing". We separate layered cakes with cream fillings and such in a different category (Torte) from pound cakes and such. So we have one category for cakes, sweet quickbreads and sweet pies (Kuchen) and a different word for more elaborate layered cakes (Torte) and a third one for savory pies and savory pastries (Pastete). Savory, non-yeasted quickbread like cornbread would be thought of as "Brot" but is very uncommon here. Yeasted dough not necessarily makes something not "Kuchen" here, they are just "Hefekuchen" ("yeast cake") -- the sweet/savory dividing line is more defining. For it to still count as bread when sweet it needs to be yeasted, sliced like bread and commonly served spread with butter, I think.
