I lose track of years and dates too.

It's baaaaaaad I tell you. Especially the 90s for some reason; the years just bleed together for me after some point (apparently, after '91 through 2000 or so).

And yet, despite that, humiliating moments from middle school are indelibly etched in my memory, in HD clarity.

Yeah, same here, right through high school and beyond (good moments from both, too).

In all fairness (to myself, I guess) the 90s were, with a few notable and/or unfortunate exceptions, the 10 most boring years of my life, so I can kind of get it all blending together for me now (not too much to differentiate one year from another, in retrospect).
