conulyIf I come in from a walk with him, he'll go upstairs without waiting for me, when he got tired snuggling with me earlier today he went up to my bed, that sort of thing.
This is a huge step that's literally a year and a half in development. Simply enormous!

A blind acquaintance once wound up falling into an excavation beside the sidewalk because someone tried to "help" him avoid it (the blind guy *knew* it was there).
But this "helpful(not!) person *grabbed* him to try to steer him away from it. and the ensuing (natural) reaction to getting grabbed did the rest.
Folks, if you want to "help" ASK FIRST.
