Plus still no sense of smell. Just ate a piece of raw ginger. Nothing. Might as well have been chewing on a potato for all I could tell.

This plus the driving rain is actually making me leery of going out long enough to vote. I'll do it, but I'm going to sulk the whole way.

Sounds like the kind of situation where you need to mix up a big batch of honey-lemon-ginger tea. I don't know what amounts are correct, but combine and sip.

I had an unbearable headache with this cruddy illness Sunday morning. Ibuprofen and coffee finally helped.

I can taste food somewhat but also have a lingering, yucky taste in my mouth. It is not fun.

I find instant mix Chinese egg drop soup is good for such occasions. Somewhat strong flavors, and it's hot and steamy so it helps with your nose. But for me, it's going out for Mexican food is my real 'open up the sinuses' treatment.

Even spicy fermented bean paste isn't doing a thing, and that stuff is SPICY. Usually gives me the hiccups.

When it comes to sinuses, I end up making really spicy food for Michelle.

A trip to H-Mart for something in their premade section or a really spicy round of Thai might be worth an experiment (or I might just be saying that because I miss Pad Kee Mao and thai curry).

Back when I used to get migraines and cluster headaches, I found that the combination of hops and ibuprofen worked better than the prescription stuff.

Hops tea tastes awful, but a heavily hopped IPA (beer) is reasonably tolerable.
