I'll be at the door at 6:45 AM. I'll be glad when it's over and done. I'm so stressed out.

Colorado has such good voting rules: every registered voter gets their ballot in the mail, and can fill it out in their own time, consulting with whatever resources they choose. Then they can mail it in or carry it to a ballot drop box. We don't have opt-out automatic registration, but I can't think of anything else I would change.

I used to fill in my ballot and spend a while asking "Is is November yet? Is it November yet?" before I switched to "Is it Tuesday yet? Is it Tuesday yet?" but this year I'm just, okay, I voted, let me know when it's over. I think I have a Post-Traumatic Election syndrome.

We all live under the same roof (well three of us do), still, so yes. x.x

No, sadly. The deadline was October 12th. =(

Unfortunately, even if it were still possible, they refuse to listen to reason from me, since always (not even that I outrank them by birth order!). I was goading them from earlier in the year, to no avail. I weep for the future.

Oh yes - of course, we're especially on edge, because my partners and I have decided we're moving to Vancouver BC if things go poorly, because we fear for what this nation will become if the neo-nazis win again.

We have a standing get-together with local fannish friends every Tuesday night. We cancelled it this week, because there's no way I'll be able to concentrate on anything other than the election all day tomorrow, I certainly wasn't able to concentrate on anything else all weekend already.

This. I voted early, to avoid some of my own anxiety, but I still have a lot of it.

Most years in glad to get the ads out of my mailbox and off the airwaves, but given what might come out of this midterm, I'm much more like I was in 2016.

Ohh yeah; me too. Feeling that way, I mean; not asking people, because after all, the date is right there in the corner of my computer screen. I'm like this SNL mid-term ad:

... at least stupid Daylight Savings Time is over! Hope you feel better soon - probably the best medicine would be the Dems taking both the House and Senate. Fingers crossed!
