You forgot 'dry' in the 'your feet are' question. Surely I am not the only one. *clutches lotion desperately*

I do believe that it should be mentioned that sandals are not a very clever option here abouts.

No, not at all, because if one is barefoot the snow won't stick, but in sandals it slides under the foot, melts and then stays at about 0°C because of the snow that is constantly touching it.

I'd be barefoot but I'm wearing custom home-made yummy socks.

Yummy as in feeling absolutely wonderful. Not as in edible, I don't do edible attire and if it did it certainly wouldn't be socks! ewwww

I never go barefoot because of my diabetes. I have no particular objection or aversion to going barefoot; I just don't do it because it's a no-no for diabetic people.

Joey enjoys barefootness in summer, but socks are good in the winter because I hate cold. I like fuzzy socks, and knee high socks, and striped socks, and occasionally toe socks.

I tend to drive barefoot in the summers and it drives my dad crazy because he thinks I'm going to stab my foot on something when I step on the brakes causing me to crash. He's being silly because I keep my car obsessively clean, so I know I won't stab my foot on something.

I don't think I ever go anywhere without shoes on... I always have socks on, even to sleep in, and almost all the other time I have my shoes on. I really don't like going barefoot :P

I hate shoes. I go barefoot whenever I possibly can get away with it, I hate socks too.
And I like my toenails. I like them painted. But now they aren't.
Swim flippers are nice too.

I generally like going barefoot, unless the ground is in any way inclined to hurt my soles because it's either too hot, too cold or too rough. Unfortunately that's true in most places outside here. So yeah, humanity invented shoes for a reason.
