Question!

For the trailer of the next Harry Potter movie (book four), which scenes/quotes do you think they'll be sure to include?

I'm going with: Mosmodre bit from the world cup, dragonfighting, "get what you need", and maybe a random shot of winky somewhere.

I read somewhere (forgot exactly) that they aren't filming the World Cup at all. The movie will start with Harry already at Hogwarts.

I think there should be teaser scenes of dragons and merfolk, the formal dance, shots of the foreign students and teachers and bits of Harry's fight with You Know Who.

I'm pretty sure they're doing the World Cup - it's the Dursleys who have been cut. Especially since location filming of the portkey scene has been seen.

What am I saying? I loathe and abhor the movies anyway, I'm not not seeing anything!

I saw some of the casting for GoF last night and almost squealed with delight (Miranda Richardson as Rita Skeeter, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!)

Well, when I saw the commercials to the first one, and the class saw McGonagall turn into a cat, I didn't want to see it. That's NOT in the first book. And then, I saw their uniforms, and I really didn't like it. And then I heard they'd canceled Peeves, and I really REALLY didn't like it.

And then I saw the first movie. And it seemed horribly rushed. So no thanks on the rest.

Give PoA a go when it comes on TV, or if someone you know gets the DVD or something. It is a far, FAR superior film to the first two (although it is, inevitably, an adaptation, but it's more recognisable as the sort of thing Rowling strives for. You can imagine that if she were writing screenplays rather than novels, they'd be like that.)
