The jargon article was disappointing to me. It had very little clarity in talking about clarity. UGH.

The story about the women who had their breasts removed is infuriating.

And that Marine who was assaulted in one of the bravest people I've ever seen.

It's more than a bit of a PITB, but if you have automatic backups, there is a file you can dig out from there and restore, but it is a bit of a pain. I've done it before. Then again, I was assuming Firefox, I don't know about other browsers. I assume others also have a state file of some sort.

the article didn't really go into this but some of those charities seem to be only interested in helping kids and parents. Lots of other people are starving and everybody who needs help should get it.

That's true, however, there's only so much cash to go around. Even if we could convince, say, Jeff Bezos to give up all his obscene riches we probably couldn't fix all the things. (I bet we could get a running start, though.)

OMG I KNOW.

Thank goodness my mom had very little in the way of breasts to remove. (I teased her some that now was the chance to go REALLY BIG, but she didn't want to go that route and I didn't think she would.) Also: Very nearly all female medical team. I don't know if that made the crucial difference, but it couldn't hurt.
