Not all Texans are narrow-minded idiots, there are idiots everywhere. Texas just has a relatively high concentration of the bible-beating type of idiots.
What does the location have to do with it? Do you really think Texas has the monopoly on assholes?
I am a native Texan, and I love my homestate. Inappropriate behavior is still inappropriate no matter what state you do it in. Why do people feel the need to bash *Texans* over this incident?
Texas is our Republican president's home state. And Clinton was not generally well liked there. So I didn't think it surprising that there would be more people reacting more negatively to his book. That's all. I never said anything about assholes or idiots.
I'll feel just as embarassed if someone in my state (New York) someday does the same thing when George W. Bush's autobiography is written for him.
