Why is Disqus broken lately?
Feb. 26th, 2018 12:23 amAnd is it just me? I can't respond on any webpage that has Disqus, instead I have to find the Disqus version of that comments page and respond there. Which is annoying. So mostly I don't.
(Also, Patheos is also b0rked in different ways, and since Patheos blogs use Disqus and I comment frequently at a few of them that means trying to a. read them and then b. respond to them has been a total disaster lately.)

Date: 2018-02-24 03:01 pm (UTC)I follow too many archeology blogs to be surprised about Africans in Tudor England but I have to pick up the Black Tudors book anyway, it seems like it'd be really interesting, and frankly I get tired of hearing about slavery and oppression all the damn time; it's nice to get some history pre-dating that.
The twins are adorable.
I admit that I don't drink green tea+lemon+honey because I expect it to cure anything, I drink it because it's comforting and it's one of the few things I can still taste on the rare occasion I have a cold! =p
I'm very hipster about my conspiracy theorist and Dominionist Christian antipathy; I got raised by that ish, I hated it and had internal red flags for their ever-shifting fandom jargon before anyone else knew to take it seriously ;)
I really wish I'd been wrong about how much of a problem they'd be, though.

More and more intelligent, enlightened people are becoming aware that discrimination against disability, race etc. is wrong.
But I see no sign of discrimination about looks going away or even becoming less. And I often feel like I'm the only person who cares about that.

But I didn't want to jump down your throat if that's not what you meant, which it sounds like it isn't.
