Making broccoli soup
Feb. 12th, 2018 11:43 pmDon't actually have a recipe, but I've got the onions cooking while I find one. Any recipe is going to start with "Saute onions until translucent", right?
Edit: YUM!

Date: 2018-02-08 06:22 pm (UTC)I have to be careful about extending the rule -- a lot of East Asian cooking doesn't start with, or even include, onions. (Except, sometimes, green onions as garnish.)

Date: 2018-02-08 10:54 pm (UTC)Some of the high-risk groups for being damaged by taser attacks are likely to have trouble complying quickly with police orders for exactly the same reasons that they're at high risk. Aren't intoxicated people kinda confused? Elderly with Alzheimers or other dementia? Seizure disorder? (I don't have convulsive seizures, but my partial seizures are triggered by flashing lights and leave me very confused for a few minutes.) And women in late pregnancy usually can't move fast.

Still, caramelized onions just doesn't strike me as weird. Maybe it's me? Maybe because I'm told durian has a somewhat similar flavor? I dunno.
