that one article about the deaf kids in India is worded kind of like they're saying the differences between ASL and British Sign Language are comparable to the difference between American English and British English. this is not accurate. the difference between ASL and BSL is much bigger to the point where the two have almost nothing in common,(they don't even have the same alphabet!) as opposed to the fact that a hearing American and a hearing Brit can pretty much make themselves understood to eachother.
I find it interesting that that doctor who got grabby with that woman was named Colon. yeah, he's a large intestine, all right....

Sometimes I see a headline suggesting that what follows will be the World's Shortest Article.

However, when I see the headline, "What Trump doesn't get about Martin Luther King Jr.," my thought was: This will be far too long to read in a human lifespan.

The Bloomberg article is wrong about so many things. It's a not a shortage of home care nurses that's the problem, it's the structure of the entire health care delivery system in the United States. Most misleading headline ever, too. Are we planning to move a trained nurse into the home of every person with a sick baby who wants to go back to work? Who is going to pay for that? We pay for incredibly complex, unbelievably costly, life-saving medical treatment for critically ill children without considering the ongoing costs of doing so. They didn't seem to see any connection between the shortage of home care nurses and the fact that they make so much less money than their counterparts in acute care hospitals either.
